Covéa strengthens its leadership team with the addition of David Mariuzza as Director of Missions to Sylvestre Frezal and Adam Sénio as Director of Reinsurance Cessions.
Following the acquisition of Partner Re a few months ago, Covéa is enhancing its executive ranks. The mutual insurance group announces the appointment of David Mariuzza as Director of Missions to Sylvestre Frezal, Deputy CEO and Secretary General of the group.
David Mariuzza previously served as an associate at the actuarial firm Addactis France, specializing in life insurance, since 2020. He joined the consulting firm formerly known as Actuaris in 2009 and progressed
from consultant to Solvency 2 manager and then Director of Modeling and Finance Practice. David Mariuzza holds a master’s degree in actuarial and financial sciences from the Institute of Financial and Insurance Sciences (ISFA) and is a Certified ERM Expert (CERA) from the Institute of Actuaries (2015).
The second recruit, Adam Sénio, comes from Generali France and assumes the role of Director of Reinsurance Cessions at Covéa. Adam Sénio previously held the position of Manager in the Non-Life and
Life Reinsurance department at Generali France since 2022. He joined the Italian insurer in 2019 as Manager of the Climate Lab. Adam assurance malus Sénio started his career at Aon Benfield in 2008 and had previously worked at the actuarial consulting firm Milliman since 2011.
